Blair has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality, events and non-profit industries and has worked in higher education for the last 6 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Administration and a Master’s Degree in Adult and Higher Education, Student Administration. He enjoys paying attention to detail resulting in high-quality customer service and, especially, working with student groups to create meaningful educational experiences. In his free time he enjoys skiing in the winter and biking and hiking in the summer as well as spontaneous travel.

In her free time Sarah can be found engaging in a wide variety of activities including antiquing, river floating, or busting a move in her hip-hop dance class.

Coming from a background as a first-generation low-income student, Laura has made it her vocational mission to advocate student success and equal access. She received a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and served in multiple student support positions across the country. Recognizing data as a powerful tool to promote equity and inclusiveness, she continued to develop her expertise in research methodology, earning a doctorate in Educational Psychology-Quantitative Methods.  Laura has worked in an array of institutional research and assessment roles and is fascinated with enhancing organizational learning through strategic uses of data collection, analysis and dissemination.

Originally from New Jersey, Mike moved with his wife to Colorado and currently works as Reporting Specialist within the Business Intelligence team. He brings more than ten years of experience in database administration, analysis, and institutional research, having served multiple offices within a large multi-campus university. In his free time he and his wife enjoy exploring the outdoors, hiking and traveling.

Sean has a rich background in socio-economic data analytics. He enjoys working with complex data-based problems and producing informative visualizations. Sean holds a PhD in philosophy and spends part of his time outside the office living the examined life of a philosopher. His academic work includes university-level teaching, research, and publishing.

Luan is pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) at MSU Denver, with a concentration in Web Development & Administration. Having recently joined the CAVEA team, he is excited to contribute and further build upon his skills related to the CIS field, supporting CAVEA and Team DELTA. Luan brings an array of multicultural customer service experience, having lived in Asia, Europe, and now America. His interests further extend into the world of video game graphics and music, as he enjoys playing video games, drawing and singing.

Bio:

Wes brings a 20 year history in mechanical systems, information systems, and aerospace operations to the CAVEA.  He provides a holistic approach to project design and systematic implementation. In addition to being a recent MSU Denver graduate with a bachelor's degree in Aviation/Aerospace Science, he also holds an A.O.S. in Automotive/Diesel Technologies, an A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems, and eight certifications.  In his free time Wes volunteers with Rocky Mountain Best Robotics, and The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics to help promote STEM learning and community involvement at all ages.

Born and raised in Colorado, Ned’s childhood of secret decoder rings in cereal boxes led to a fascination with world languages and various forms of communication. Later, living many years in Europe, he developed multi-lingual proficiency and an appreciation for new approaches to systems and solutions. Ned enjoys combining organization and design to create simplified and sustainable structures, crafted between sips of the occasional espresso.

Bio:

Working as CAVEA’s contracted AV/IT Support Engineer, Jackie brings experience in the Audio/Visual field and loves developing innovative spaces through technology. Her dedication as a classical flutist for 17 years has developed her appreciation for the joys of music and has expanded her understanding of the work required behind the scenes for events to run smoothly.
