Finish What You Started, a community partner program grant with COSI

Cost shouldn’t be a barrier to completion. Finish what you started with MSU Denver.

MSU Denver’s Finish What You Started (FWYS) program provided personal, professional, academic, and financial support as students worked to complete their academic journey.

Support included but was not limited to:

  • $1,000 each semester enrolled (*summer semester not included)
  • A dedicated staff member to help navigate the college experience
  • A network of community and helpful resources as students complete their degree

 

Thank you for your interest in the Finish What You Started program. Please note that we are no longer accepting new applications, as the program is in the process of sunsetting. We are grateful for the incredible participants who have been a part of this journey, and we look forward to celebrating the final phase of the program, which is getting our scholars to completion!

“Most of my classmates are 50 years younger than I am, so it’s great to see all their ideas and creativity… This has taken a long time, but we’re finally crossing the finish line and it’s very fulfilling to do that.”
