Prospective Innovations in Teaching & Learning Xperiences

PitchLX is an innovative new experience open to all higher education professionals (faculty, staff, administrators, etc.), which culminates in a live “pitch-off” in conjunction with the Teaching and Learning with Technology Symposium . Select participants deliver three-minute pitches for existing or theorized innovative ideas which have the potential to significantly shape the future of teaching and learning with technology. Following each pitch, a panel of experts conduct a live Q&A/critique, and award points based on feasibility, creativity, pedagogical value, and overall delivery. Prizes are awarded, so innovative thinking and preparation are highly encouraged!

  • Up to 10 three-minute pitches, each followed by a five-minute experts-panel Q&A (rehearsal encouraged)
  • Up to 4 possible points awarded in each category (feasibility, creativity, pedagogical value and overall delivery), with 4 additional people's choice points being awarded, for a maximum possible score of 20.
  • Awards announced for first runner-up and winning pitches.
