2019-2020 Season Productions

Production photo for HAIR

We produce two musicals and two non-musicals every year providing students with practical training and experience in theatrical productions.  Our productions are student fee funded student, therefore, any MSU Denver student is welcome to audition or work in a technical area.  In addition, every MSU Denver student can get one free ticket to every production by reserving it with their student I.D. at the King Center Box Office.

We believe in supporting and developing a strong ‘ensemble-based’ approach to performance and production development.  Our goal is a unified collaboration between all members of the production team working together on behalf of the play, rather than emphasizing individual performances or technical elements.

We encourage all of our theatre majors and minors to explore both sides of theatre – from the performance side to the technical side.  Being cross-trained in different aspects of the theatre process increases a student’s experience, flexibility and knowledge of the craft of theatre.

Information about each production is posted on our Theatre Callboard located near the Theatre Department Main Office (Arts 269).
