Charles W. Fisher Award

Charles W. Fisher was a Professor of Sociology with an emphasis in Urban Sociology. He was a highly valued member of the MSU Denver Department of Sociology and Anthropology. In honor of Professor Fisher, who left MSU Denver in 1976, the Charles W. Fisher Award was established. The award is given to exceptional graduating seniors in Sociology and Anthropology. Recipient selection is based on academic performance, scholarly activity, and community involvement.
