Campus Recreation is open to everyone! (students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community)
Membership is included in most MSU Denver tuition packages, however if it’s not, you can opt-in for only $38.60/semester.
Fitness and Wellness at Campus Recreation provides the several opportunities for students, employees and community at large to start or continue a fitness journey. Our Fitness Center provides 5,000 square feet of equipment to meet all of your exercise needs. Our Fitness Loft houses our group fitness classes which allow you to work on body & mind in an inclusive environment. If you need an extra push, our certified student personal trainers use their experience to provide an exercise program to meet all your wellness goals in a supportive and welcoming setting.
All of these services are designed to work around your busy schedule, whether you only have 30 minutes once a week or you like to exercise 5 times/week, there is a place for you here.
The Outdoor Pursuits (OP) Program offers a variety of trips and instructional experiences including canyoneering, hiking, rock climbing, ice climbing, avalanche forecasting, mountaineering, camping and canoeing. OP includes educational, cultural and leadership experiences, programs and resources designed to connect students with one another, their institution and the outdoors. Current Campus Recreation members are eligible to take advantage of affordable experiences and outdoor gear rentals at the Outdoor Pursuits Center.
Being involved with a sports team can be a vital part of staying healthy and is an excellent opportunity for a student to share their passion for sport with others. Campus Recreation offers three different ways to get engaged: Club Sports, Intramural Leagues/Tournaments, and Open Recreation. The MSU Denver Men’s Club Soccer team is a competitive men’s club soccer team that plays in the NIRSA Region V league. Our team is committed to creating a winning mentality and a lasting brotherhood between motivated athletes.
The Access Center is the support program for students with disabilities which include, but are not limited to: learning disabilities, mental health, physical/systemic illnesses, ADHD and Autism.

Auraria Recovery Community (ARC) is a peer-led recovery community supporting students actively in, or seeking out, recovery from substance use or process addictions. Weekly All Recovery Meetings, campus events and monthly social gatherings are all ways to get involved. ARC welcomes All Pathways to Recovery.
The ASCP is the one-stop-shop for all things sustainability on campus! Including bike shelters, solar panels, full-service composting to electronic waste recycling, a second-hand Free Store to Creek Clean Ups and so much more, the ASCP has many projects and initiatives to reduce the campus’s reliance on fossil fuels and its overall ecological impact.

An integrated healthcare center providing comprehensive medical and psychiatric care to the campus community. We can provide primary care services in addition to specialty care like sports medicine, gynecology gender expansive care. Additionally, MSU Denver students have access to no charge mental health services, nutrition counseling, tobacco cessation support, harm reduction and sexual health supplies.
MSU Denver’s Gina and Frank Day Health Institute develops the next generation of health-care professionals with a radically different approach to applied education. Spanning 10 academic departments, students learn alongside experts both in and out of the classroom, modeling the interdisciplinary needs of today’s in-demand healthcare industry.
The Department of Nutrition at MSU Denver provides students with opportunities to grow and learn in the field of nutrition and dietetics. The department has award-winning faculty, received $5 million in student-focused grants, and is leading diversity initiatives in the field of nutrition and dietetics!

The One World One Water Center is a collaboration between MSU Denver and Denver Botanic Gardens to prepare an educated, empowered, and solution-oriented Colorado community to protect and preserve our precious water resources. The OWOW Center offers three academic programs: Water Studies minor, Water Studies certificate, and a Professional Water Studies Online certificate in partnership with Innovative and Lifelong Learning.
The Bachelor of Science in K-12 Physical Education prepares students to teach in public or private schools. Course work leads to elementary, secondary and K-12 physical education licensure and health education licensure in Colorado.
The Roadrunner Food Pantry is a free food pantry available to all MSU Denver students. Students are allocated weekly points that can be used for snacks, school supplies, personal hygiene products, dairy products, prepped meals and sandwiches, fresh produce and so much more. Our mission is to advocate for Food for All.
The Student Care Center provides holistic support to students who are navigating life challenges that may be a barrier to academic success and overall well-being. Support is provided through a combination of short-term Case Management, referrals to on and off campus resources, and connecting students with various services to help meet basic needs.
Besides earning a paycheck, student employees receive on-the-job training, professional development, and leadership skills, while building professional relationships. They are valued employees who contribute to the University’s success.
