Program Options


MSU Denver's MBA program offers you the choice of the following concentrations:

  • Strategic Business
  • Business Analytics 
  • Accounting

The MSU Denver MBA program encourages any person with a bachelor's degree to apply, including non-business majors. The program is also available to international students, and international applicants should plan to apply early. International applicants can find detailed information on how to apply here.

Applicants can also pursue MBA courses in a Non-Degree Seeking (NDS) status. Non-Degree Seeking applicants receive a streamlined admission process and are not required to provide a GMAT score or professional portfolio. NDS students are restricted to enrolling in a maximum of nine credits, and federal financial aid is not available to students in this status. Non-Degree Seeking admission is available to any person who has previously earned one of the following:

  • A bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA or better
  • A previous master's or doctoral degree
  • A professional business/accounting certificate or licensure (Ex. CPA, CFP)

Courses always average fewer than 30 students, giving you plenty of individual attention and feedback from professors who have many years of experience both in the world of business and in teaching.

Specially designed levelling modules can help bring you up to speed in a few weeks if your undergraduate degree is not business-related. The MSU Denver MBA is a 36-credit degree program for all students.

MSU Denver, located on the Auraria Campus, is adjacent to downtown Denver’s business and financial district.
