MSU Denver business college ranked in “Military Times Best for Vets: Business Schools 2016”

DENVER – For the fourth-consecutive year, Metropolitan State University of Denver’s College of Business is included on the Military Times’ annual list of top business schools for veterans. The College of Business is ranked 45th in the nation on the increasingly competitive list, released yesterday.  

MSU Denver was among just four of Colorado’s business schools ranked in the “Best for Vets: Business Schools 2016” an editorially independent evaluation of factors that make an institution a good fit for military veterans.

“The College of Business is uniquely positioned to help veteran students because of the number of our faculty and staff who are veterans, including some of our department advisors,” said College of Business Dean Ann Murphy. “It’s encouraging that the University’s renewed efforts to support our veteran and military connected students has been recognized.”

The Military Times organization, made up of Army Times, Navy Times, Air Force Times and Marine Corps Times, provides the most comprehensive school-by-school assessment of veteran and military students’ success rates. Military Times’ Best for Vets survey-based rankings include colleges, career an technical colleges, business schools, franchises, employers and law enforcement.

As part of MSU Denver’s commitment to veterans and active military students, the University continuously looks for opportunities for improving service delivery through enhanced support services and policy. Military Times named MSU Denver to its annual “Best for Vests: Colleges 2016” rankings as the top four-year institution in Colorado with a 49th place nationally. MSU Denver has also been included in Military Advanced Education “Guide to Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities 2016” and U.S. Veterans Magazine listed the University in their 2015 guide of Top Veteran-Friendly Schools.
