Statewide Day of Education

(Denver, Colo.) — WHAT: The Student Government Assembly of Metropolitan State College of Denver is hosting an educational rally in collaboration with many other state institutions in hopes of informing the citizens of Colorado about the connection between higher education and the social and economic security of the state.
WHERE: Athletic fields on Auraria Campus just off Auraria Parkway and Speer Blvd.
10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Local band Skyfox performs
11:00 a.m. – 11:15 Student Government Assembly Introductions
11:15 a.m. – 11:45 Skyfox
11:45 a.m. – 12:30 Adam Kretz, a Public Interest Fellow with the Colorado Fiscal Policy Institute
12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. One-on-one interviews with Kretz and Andrew Bateman, SGA President
