Ready to find out what MSU Denver can do for you? We’ve got you covered.
Internships are an integral part of the educational experience across all of the programs offered by the Department of Political Science. With help from the Classroom to Career (C2) Hub and it’s Internship Center, the Department has placed interns in local governments and non-profits, law offices, the U.S. Congress in D.C., and even with international organizations. Our location in Downtown Denver provides a unique opportunity to work right where all the action is, or choose an internship outside of the metro area, or the state, to pursue unique opportunities.
Through the MSU Denver Earn and Learn Program, the Department offers dedicated funds to provide wages for unpaid internships for those who qualify.
Recent Internships include the U.S. House of Representatives, Colorado State Legislature, various political campaigns, law firms, City Council, and many non-profits and public policy agencies.
The MSU Denver Institute for Public Service, Presidential Federal Internship Program provides students a once-in-a-lifetime experience working in Washington, D.C. This competitive internship places students in an internship in D.C., provides a stipend, and covers travel and lodging expenses. This is a great opportunity outside of our regular internship program.
