Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Office of Sponsored Research and Programs is governed by the policies and procedures as adopted by the Metropolitan State University of Denver Board of Trustees. These policies and procedures relate to proposals and contracts that are entered into by the University, in accordance with either a mandated arrangement with a government agency (i.e. indirect cost rate agreements) or directives of the Board (i.e. ICR distribution, remuneration, etc.)

The Institutional Review Board (Human Subjects Protection Program), is registered with the Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  

Any proposals involving human subjects are required to submit their proposal to the HSPP for review prior to submission. Please contact the HSPP with any questions.

The Federal Code of Regulations, Title 2, Subtitle A, Chapter II, Part 200 provides uniform administrative requirements, cost principles, and audit requirements for federal awards.

    The PAPPG, in conjunction with NSF's Grant General Conditions, serves as the Foundation's implementation of 2 CFR § 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.
