A new weekly newsletter for students is designed to foster their success and keep them on track to graduation.

All MSU Denver students received the first issue of The ‘Runner yesterday, a weekly publication sent via email and produced by the Dean of Students Office, and Student Engagement and Wellness.
With student-focused news, stories, events information, fun facts and more, The ‘Runner is designed to engage students and keep them on track to graduation.
“Despite what we may think, students have been telling us that they do indeed check their email and are wanting more information about opportunities to engage on campus via email,” said Associate Vice President for Student Engagement and Wellness/Dean of Students Braelin Pantel. “This publication is intended to push content to currently enrolled students about University-sponsored activities that are designed for a broad student audience, as well as a few nudges about important academic deadlines and additional personal-interest stories, such as success stories featuring students who are maximizing their MSU Denver experience.”
Because event information included in The ‘Runner will be pulled from the Events Calendar on MSU Denver’s website, departments are encouraged to post their student-focused, University-sponsored events to the main Events Calendar with as much advance notice as possible for consideration.
