Craft beer, here!

Spend an evening learning about Colorado’s craft beer industry and preview brews to be featured in the upcoming Collaboration Fest.

March 11, 2015

Working with Collaboration Fest, Imbibe Events and the Colorado Brewers Guild, MSU Denver is offering the Collaboration Immersion Class about Colorado’s craft beer industry on March 19 at 6 p.m. in the Hospitality Learning Center, Room 208.

Featuring a panel of local brewers, the two-hour class will be led by Hospitality, Tourism and Events affiliate faculty member Scott Kerkmans, a former professional brewer with Alaskan Brewing Company who helped establish Draft magazine. Kerkmans is an annual judge at the Great American Beer Festival who provides training through his companies, Beer Conscious Training and Homebrew IQ.

Participants in the class will learn about the history of collaborations among Colorado brewers and sample beers to be offered at the second annual Collaboration Fest, which will feature more than 70 unique beer collaborations on March 21 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Tickets for the Collaboration Immersion class cost $35. Buy your ticket today.
