Pep Band

MSU Denver’s Roadrunner Pride Pep Band performs at MSU Denver Men’s and Women’s Basketball games throughout the spring season.

Performing with the Pep Band is a paid gig! Each band member receives $50 per game, and will be provided a shirt. Games are held in the Auraria Events Center on the Auraria Campus.

Auditions are open to alto sax, tenor sax, baritone sax, mellophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba, electric bass, and drum set instrumentalists. Students in need of an instrument may borrow one for free from the Music Department.

To audition for Pep Band, please record a video of yourself performing the audition repertoire requirements, then fill out the audition application.
