Every year, 1 Book/1 Project/2 Transform unites students and faculty across campus in reading a common book, engaging in facilitated discussions and participating in a related community service project. Be a part of the leadership learning group with special discussions and activities exploring leadership.

Each year Illuminate brings together MSU Denver students for a one-day experience designed to grow confidence and connections to create change in our local communities. The program will be featured as part of the MSU Denver Martin Luther King Jr Celebrations also including the annual Peace Breakfast and the Denver Marade.

Latinx Leadership Summit

The purpose of the Latinx Leadership Summit is to nurture the cultural pride and identity development in the Latinx community on the Auraria Campus. With these efforts we intend to build a stronger sense of community, belonging, leadership capacity, and a sense of activism that permeates our campus and local communities. Transcend Auraria Social Justice Retreat

Transcend

The purpose of the Transcend Auraria Social Justice Retreat is to create a safe space for students of all backgrounds to deepen their exploration and understanding of issues related to diversity, inclusion, identity, power, privilege, and oppression. Students from MSU Denver, the Community College of Denver and the University of Colorado at Denver can learn more on the Transcend Auraria Retreat webpage.

Women in STEM Conference

Researchers have long been studying the various reasons why women are underrepresented in the STEM fields. This annual conference aims to not just address some of these reasons, but give our students, faculty, and staff the understanding and tools to help them succeed in their careers of choice.
