Banner account is locked

  • Users may get the follow errors:
    • User gets message "java.sql.SQLException" account is locked. 
    • User gets message "java.sql.SQLException.Protocol violation" while signing onto the application.
  • If your Banner Account is locked and you know your password, please wait 10 minutes for the account to unlock itself.
  • If you don't know your password, call the Metro State Help Desk at 303-352-7548 to get your password reset.
  • All passwords need to start with an alphabetic character, uppercase or lowercase.  All passwords need to be at least 8 characters with 2 uppercase letters, 2 lowercase letters and 2 numbers, no special characters.  These requirements are noted on screen GUAPSWD.
