So You Think You Might Want to Become a Teacher?
Exploring Education Through the Lens of Diversity and Music

Have you thought about becoming a teacher? Not sure what to expect? This one-morning seminar will explore what you need to know if you are considering a career in teaching. This session will give information to people who are thinking about a second career in education, who currently work in the education field but are now interested in getting a teaching license, or who are interested in acquiring new teaching strategies. Students will explore using music as a tool to make instruction understandable and assessable in early childhood, culturally and linguistically diverse education, and Special Education. Other pertinent information will be shared with regards to application process, advising, etc.
