The Office of Graduate Studies

A Place Where Excellence and Innovation Converge

The Office of Graduate Studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver represents a diverse community of scholars and practitioners.  The breadth of our program offerings is only matched by the diversity of our student body.  The Office of Graduate Studies is the central advocate for campus-wide graduate programs while providing strategic leadership for growth and quality.  Furthermore, the Office of Graduate Studies is a resource for graduate students, providing guidance for program offerings, admissions guidelines, thesis electronic submission information and career preparation. The Office of Graduate Studies values integrity, collaboration and innovation, as well as, the core values of CADRE—community, access, diversity, respect and entrepreneurship.

In addition to innovative academic programs, students can expect to have a rich experience in the City of Denver.  MSU Denver is located in the heart of a vibrant, diverse and exciting city—a dynamic center for technology, sports and recreation, health services, and the arts.  Our programs are fully immersed in the urban environment in which the university is located.  Denver represents an international hub for the Mountain region and is the state capital of Colorado.  This global environment amplifies the opportunity for scholarly engagement and practice in all of our programs.  At MSU Denver we believe in educating the whole student—including encouraging our students to engage in service learning.

Students who excel in the MSU Denver graduate environment are creative, entrepreneurial roadrunners…prepared to run their own road.  If this sounds like you, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We would love to provide you with information about our programs.
