She provides leadership and planning for gift management, data integrity and analysis, reporting, and training.

Growing up in Southeastern Wisconsin, Michelle learned early the phrase, “Be good to your neighbor.” It was part of her community’s DNA to organize grassroots fundraisers for families experiencing crises and buy from businesses that care and serve. This ethic translated first to a liberal arts degree earned through service learning in nonprofit management at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master’s in library and information science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which inspired and prepared her for her professional journey to help others through philanthropy.

Michelle’s advancement services experience bridges positions in higher education, the nonprofit sector and corporate social responsibility. She’s an enthusiastic advocate for the power of philanthropy and its impact and ability to transform communities, people, and institutions. Michelle volunteers and travels in her free time.
