You Should Know

• ASSET and DACA students are encouraged to apply!
• You must submit the Path to Graduation form (please see the link at the top of the page). You’ll need to have it ready in PDF format before starting this application. * Advisor’s (Professional or Faculty) or Academic Coach’s signature required.
• You will not submit an essay.
• Once you are prepared, the application will take about 30 minutes to complete.
Preference will be given to students whose financial aid (Pell, loans, or both) has run out, and to students who otherwise cannot receive state or federal aid. Proximity to graduation will be considered.

Award: $500-$1000

Applicants Must:

• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Have completed at least 60 credit hours at the college level by the start of Fall 2025 semester
• Be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours in the Fall by August 18th, 2025
• Have filed a FASFA or CASFA for the 2025-2026 school year
• Be Pell eligible or have an income level at or below the level required for a Pell grant
• Attach a Path to Graduation form (see link above)

Some Applicants Must Also:

• If the applicant has taken out student loans, log into NSLDS here (a FAFSA pin/FAFSA ID will be needed) to find the total amount of loans taken out.

• If the applicant is a new transfer to MSU Denver, attach unofficial transcripts from previous institution(s).
