Institutional Scholarships

MSU Denver offers a variety of Institutional Scholarships. These funds are awarded based on a first-come first-served basis.

$1,000 or $500 per term. Awards are based on amounts earned with a maximum per year of $1,000

 

Participate in RaiseMe; High school GPA of a 3.25+; Colorado Resident; Admissions Application completed by July 1st;  Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress.  

 

 

Must be enrolled in at least 6 hours

 
Pres Academic Achievement High School 
Awarded to incoming first-time students with a GPA of a 3.25 or better.   
$2,000 or  $1,000 per term

Complete a FAFSA or Dreamer Application; Complete Financial Aid File; High school GPA of a 3.25; Colorado Resident; Undergraduate; Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress. 

 

Fund amounts will prorate for half-time (6-8 hours), and for three-quarter time (9-11 hours)
Pres Academic Achievement Continuing, Readmit, Transfer
Awarded to continuing  and transfer students with a GPA of a 3.25 or better.   
$2,000 or $1,000 per term 

Complete a FAFSA or Dreamer Application; Complete Financial Aid File; Colorado Resident; Undergraduate; 25 credit hours completed; Continuing or Returning- MSU Denver GPA of a 3.25; if Transfer- GPA of a 3.25 from most recent school attended; Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress. 

 

Fund amounts will prorate for half-time (6-8 hours), and for three-quarter time (9-11 hours)
Pres Academic Achievement Transfer (Spring or spring/summer)
Awarded to spring Transfer students with a GPA of a 3.25 or better. 
       $2,000 or $1,000 per term

Complete a FAFSA or Dreamer Application; Complete Financial Aid File; Transfer GPA of a 3.25; Transfer of 25 or more hours; Colorado Resident; Undergraduate; Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress.

MSU Denver Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Transfer
Awarded to students with a GPA of a 3.50 or better, have transferred from a community college where they participated in PTK. 
$1,000 or $500 per term

Complete a FAFSA or Dreamer Application; Complete Financial Aid File; Complete scholarship application; PTK participant; Transfer GPA of a 3.50; Transfer of 25 or more hours; Colorado Resident; Undergraduate; Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress. 

 

Fund amounts will prorate for half-time (6-8 hours), and for three-quarter time (9-11 hours)
