Scholarly activity is one of the three major areas of evaluation for all Category I faculty at MSU Denver. The following resources are intended to support faculty in their pursuit of excellence in the area of scholarship.
As a new and ongoing faculty member of MSU Denver, you will have the opportunity to participate in the various workshops that we offer. These workshops are designed to help you prepare, organize, and submit your faculty evaluation portfolio.
Digital Measures is the online portfolio tool the University has adopted to organize and document faculty activity in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service. Digital Measures has the capability of streamlining and simplifying the process of assembling the portfolio you will submit for evaluation purposes, including, but not limited to, retention, tenure, promotion, and post-tenure review.
The Faculty Senate of the MSU Denver officially represents faculty members in all matters of interest and concern. These interests and concerns include, but are not limited to, receiving and making recommendations on current and proposed changes in academic, administrative, fiscal and personnel polices.
These committees provide opportunities for faculty to participate in the shared governance of the University.
