BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR APPLICATION TO THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND POST-BACCALAUREATE PROGRAMS, PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE APPLIED AND BEEN ACCEPTED TO METROPOLITAN STATE UNIVERSITY OF DENVER.

If your application is submitted later than one week prior to the beginning of the semester, we cannot guarantee you will be accepted in time to begin classes. Apply now!
In order to be formally admitted to the School of Education at the undergraduate and post-baccalaureate level, all prospective students must complete or meet the following requirements:
- SCHOOL OF EDUCATION APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION – Completed application includes the Criminal History Agreement, Admissions Handbook Information Checklist and the Workers’ Compensation Procedures. Please see the Admissions Handbook for details.
- GPA* – Minimum 2.5 GPA (or higher) with 30 semester hours of credit completed or in progress.
*Students who do not meet this requirement can be provisionally admitted to the School of Education until the requirement is met.

STEP 1: Meet with the appropriate advisor(s) - see the Admissions Handbook for details.
STEP 2: Read and review the Admissions Handbook (click the red button below).
STEP 3: Complete the online application.
NEXT STEPS: Submitted applications will typically be processed within 2 weeks of the submission date. Please plan accordingly if you need admission status to register for classes. Once processed, students will receive an acceptance email at their MSU Denver email address.
REAPPLY TO OR WITHDRAW FROM A SCHOOL OF EDUCATION PROGRAM
If you were previously accepted to a School of Education undergraduate or post-baccalaureate program, and you have since gone inactive with the university and were required to reapply to the university to attend again, you must submit a new application to the School of Education using the information above on this page.
