Celebrate National First Generation College Student Day
Today, recognize the 49.1 percent of Roadrunners who identify as the first person in their family to go to college.

Metropolitan State University of Denver faculty, staff and students are invited to join TRIO Student Support Services and First-Gen Initiatives today in celebrating National First Generation College Student Day. The celebration will take place today in the second-floor mezzanine of the Jordan Student Success Building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Faculty and staff are welcome to stop by and are encouraged to help spread the word among students. The informal drop-in event will include cake, “I’m First-Gen Too” T-shirts for students, a photo booth and campus resources.
