Rowdy didn’t see his shadow. That means summer is coming early for Roadrunners.

Encourage students to register early for summer school classes!

February 5, 2018

Rowdy looks around for his shadow and doesn't find it.It’s official: “Punxsutawney” Rowdy did not see his shadow Feb. 2. Summer will arrive early this year. That means summer school classes are around the corner.

The MSU Denver summer class schedule goes live Feb. 12, 2018, while priority registration for graduates and seniors begins Feb. 26. All admitted students can begin registration for summer school March 9. Registration closes May 14.

Students who take summer classes are more likely to graduate on time – or even early. They take advantage of availability of required classes that may be booked during fall and spring semesters. They can take interesting courses only offered in the summer or take summer “bridge” classes that offer extra support for students.

In the next few months, we’ll be highlighting some of the classes that will be offered this summer in the Early Bird and student communications including the Runner and Student Hub. The Department of Marketing and Communications is developing templates of summer school flyers for individual departments and programs to customize, print and distribute to students to encourage registration, and you’ll see branded summer school 2018 posters around campus to increase awareness about registration.

Stay tuned for more information!
