Helping To Decide

This page is to help certificate seeking students who are not sure if this is the route they should take:

* Please be advised that NON-Mechanical Engineering Technology students who are certificates seeking should pursue a Mechanical Engineering Technology minor as it is explained below

Required courses in red font are latticed directly into the curriculum for a Minor or Major in MET.  As you can tell, the red required coursework in the two different certificates are the same as what is in the Minor.  These courses can be stacked into the Minor and both certificates.  The certificate required course work in the blue font can be used as upper division electives and are also stacked into the Minor or Major requirements.  Having this latticed and stacked structure makes for an easy way to earn more credentials at an efficient pace without having to take too many more courses.
