Field Trips and Group Visits

Exhibitions at the CVA promote dialog by creating access to thought provoking work by local and international artists. Visits to the CVA are free to university classes, school and community groups. Tour participants are encouraged to explore contemporary themes addressed in the artists' work through inquiry and discussion in the gallery. Hands-on workshops in the Studio offer an opportunity to share ideas and learn new techniques.
With advance planning the Education Director will work to develop a program that is fun, relevant to the groups objectives and relatable to visitors ages 0-90+. Length, content, method, and frequency of visits can be customized as well.

Hands-on workshops in our studio encourage visitors to create work in response to the exhibition. Studio Immersion are a minimum of 90 minutes and may include a materials fee.

Our space is navigable for visitors with physical disabilities. Sign language interpretation, large print and translation services are available with advanced request.

Group visits are valued at $5/per student per visit. Through generous support from our sponsors, and your donations the CVA waives fees for universities, school and community groups.

Children under the age of 18 should be accompanied by responsible chaperones with a 1:15 ratio.
