Morocco Through Four Lenses  |  May 24 - July 20, 2019

In January 2019, MSU Denver art students studied in Morocco with MSU Denver Visiting Faculty in Art History, Theory and Criticism Leila Armstrong and Associate Professor of Art Kelly Monico. Touring six cities, the students studied the predominant architectural, textile and ceramic styles of the country. In response, the students made creative work of varying media that explores patterning and ornamentation through four lenses: culture, pattern, place and self.
