MSU Denver Center for Teaching, Learning and Design

The Center for Teaching, Learning and Design directly supports MSU Denver’s primary mission of offering excellence in teaching and learning. We empower the entire academic community at MSU Denver by promoting instructional methods that increase equity, engagement, and success for both students and faculty at all levels of experience, in all course formats.

Instructional design is a systematic process and methodology for designing, developing and delivering instructional materials that align with desired learning objectives and outcomes. With that end in mind, the CTLD offers strategic support services to all academic programs and faculty. Through our research-driven instructional design framework and initiatives, we strive to create an institutional culture focused on collaborative innovation and continuous improvement for all online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses.
