Individual Counseling

We provide short-term, goal-focused counseling that addresses a student’s mental health concerns, roughly within a semester to discuss your personal, educational and relationship concerns.

In this way we are be able to accommodate more students, given the growing demands for mental health care. Our short-term approaches are appropriate for identifying sources of stress and challenges as well as providing healthy options for overcoming them. Our staff will be able to help you strategize how to best use the options and resources that are available to you. These may involve individual or group therapy.

Students with concerns that are outside of this scope will be provided support and assistance to find the most appropriate mental health care for them. For some concerns your therapist may recommend a referral to an off-campus agency who will better assist you.
