Outreach

Our Counseling Center outreach efforts are designed to reduce stigma around mental health struggles, provide psychoeducation to students, and promote mental health and well-being on campus.  We also provide suicide awareness and prevention workshops.

QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Workshop

Request this 90-minute workshop for students, faculty, and staff.  You can have a Counseling Center clinician come train your group of 10+ to learn the myths about suicide as well as the signs, symptoms, and steps to help someone wanting to take their own life.  Earn a Certificate as a QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper.

Please use the link below to submit your outreach request at least 2-4 weeks in advance of the event. The further in advance we receive your request, the more likely we may be able to fulfill it.
