It's that time of year again! The Fall 2019 SLPA Certificate Application is due on APRIL 12th, 2019. All completed applications must include: Letter of Intent, two (2) letters of reference and official transcripts.

Certificate Overview

The SLPA certificate prepares students to obtain the Colorado Department of Education authorization for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.

The certificate courses consist of 19 credit hours of SLHS courses, including SLHS 4550 Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Methods. This 7 credit hour course consists of 180 hours of internship and observation under the direction of a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Students must apply for admission to SLHS 4550 following the guidelines in the SLPA course application.
