Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Minor

Students seeking a Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences minor are required to take a minimum of 21 semester hours, nine of which must be upper division. A grade of C- or better is required for each course in this program to count toward the minor. Students should note that programs differ in the minimum grade required.

   SLHS 3511 - Anatomy and Physiology of Speech Credits: 4
   SLHS 3540 - Phonetics and Phonological Awareness Credits: 3
   SLHS 3580 - Speech, Sound and Fluency Disorders Credits: 3
   SLHS 3590 - School Speech-Language Intervention Credits: 3
   SLHS 3600 - Diagnostic Audiology Credits: 3
   SLHS 4510 - Child Language Disorders Credits: 3
   SLHS 4610 - Rehabilitative Audiology Credits: 3
   THE 3200 - Oral Interpretation Credits: 3 

Note: SLHS 1620, SLHS 3580, SLHS 3590, SLHS 4610, and THE 3200 have prerequisites that must be satisfied.
