Career Opportunities With a Major in Music Education


 

Frank is a classical musician and internationally acclaimed choral conductor, having performed with Grammy Award-winning vocal group Chanticleer, held the position of Music Director for both the Washington DC Men's Camerata and the Woodley Ensemble as well as the conductor for the University of Virginia's Virginia Glee Club.

 

Many jobs require a college educated individual. College graduates can use their education in a wide variety of occupations.


The Music Education degree prepares students for careers teaching instrumental, choral and general music at K-12 levels. It provides a foundation for developing careers in music business, arts administration and other arts-related specialties. Music students also find employment with music technology and the mental disciplines learned in music theory.
