Are you an incoming MSU freshman OR transfer student interested in a career within the Aviation or Space Industry? Apply today for VUELO- a 5-day summer bridge (July 28th- August 1st 2025) and First Year Experience- a 2- part scholarship course.
Participants are expected to enroll in the required course structure. However, all additional classes participants want to enroll in during the semester is up to their discretion. If you are looking for course recommendations please feel free to reach out to our team. All participants are expected to enroll in the same sections for the following classes:
Fall Semester (3-6 credits)
3 Credit – Aerospace Industry Exploration & Analysis | AVS 190B (CRN 53788) (counts as an elective if applicable to your degree)
3 Credit – Basic Aviation & Aerospace Analysis (if applicable) | AVS 190CDE (CRN 53870, 53871, 53872) (counts as an elective if applicable to your degree)
Spring Semester (3 credits)
3 Credit – Aerospace Digitization | AVS 190F (counts as an elective if applicable to your degree)
This scholarship is designed to help meet the unmet financial need for current MSU Denver students with an expressed commitment in entering the Aerospace industry. The SpaceTech Scholars’ Scholarship will be offered to select students after the assessing their financial need, essay questions, and interview responses. SpaceTech Scholars will have opportunities’ to participate in programs and engage with various MSU Denver students, faculty, staff, K-12 educator partners, MSU Denver alumni, and Aerospace industry partners.
$3,000 Participation Stipend | $1500 awarded both Fall and Spring semester
All students are encouraged to enroll in the following course if applicable but it is not a requirement for the undergraduate scholarship. This course is NOT a math credit but a remedial math course to help students beef up their algebra skills to place into a college math course or prepare themselves for a applied math course such as Aerodynamics or STK.
