Civic Engagement Program

Civic Engagement at MSU Denver offers co-curricular, educationally meaningful initiatives that provide opportunities for students to develop as engaged citizens and impact the community. 

The Civic Engagement Program includes the following initiatives:

 

Puksta Circle Logo Puksta Scholars Program 

 The Puksta Scholars Leadership Program provides professional development, a modest stipend toward tuition, and project support funds to create and  sustain a community based project. Participation is by application to the program.  Watch for applications in January!

 

 

 

 

  PeaceJam Partnership

  Are you interested in making a difference in your community?  Are you interested in tapping into the amazing wisdom of Nobel Prize Laureates?  Get    involved with the MSU Denver PeaceJam Partnership.  We have access to the PeaceJam Film series, mentor training, and opportunities to work with  PeaceJam youth initiatives.

 

 

American Democracy Project

 MSU Denver has motivated, civically active students.  Get involved with programs designed to teach civic skills, knowledge, and motivation at local,  regional, national, and global scales.

 

 

  Mini Grants   Apply for funding for student initiated, community based projects.
