The Office of Student Intervention Services (SIS) at MSU Denver engages with students that have an overall GPA below a 2.00. Our staff and advising professionals manages the MSU Denver Academic Standing Policy through sending out informational notifications to students and providing helpful trainings for faculty and staff.
Please keep in mind that the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships also uses similar terms for their federally mandated financial aid status, specifically Financial Aid Suspension or SAP status (click on the ‘Satisfactory Academic Progress’ link at the top the webpage for more information).

A Student is in Good Academic Standing if they maintain a overall GPA of 2.00 or higher.
