Academic Advising at MSU Denver is a collaborative model, based on best practices as defined by the National Academic Advising Association and the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS Standards). Using a developmental model of advising, we provide information about college policies and processes, assistance in major selection, and referrals to offices and staff for issues we are unable to address.
Professional Academic Advisors for undeclared and Letters, Arts, and Sciences students are housed in Student Success Building 170. College and Program-specific Advisors are housed in offices across campus (contact info listed under the left menu); this short questionnaire helps students determine the advisor they should talk to.
Faculty Advisors provide services for students who have declared their majors. Students can find contact information and office locations here.
