Accurate and engaging science communications are needed more than ever. Discover how generative AI can revolutionize data visualization in STEM by automating the creation of insightful, tailored charts and enhancing the analysis of complex datasets. In this workshop, Dr. Ranjidha Rajan (MSU Denver Dept. of Computer Sciences) will teach participants to harness AI-powered tools to generate, refine, and interpret visualizations, empowering their research and projects with cutting-edge technology.
In today’s age of generative AI, many of us are left wondering if we’ll have jobs in the future, and what value we actually would bring to the table if AI replaces our jobs. In this keynote, Amanda will share recent commentary from across the spectrum as it relates to generative AI, and compare that to what most jobs require of us today. We’ll take this time to explore what truly makes us human, and how we can lean into our unique strengths and humanity, setting ourselves apart from AI. Learning the boundary between human and machine, at least when it comes to thinking and working, will leave listeners inspired to lean into their strengths and unique humanness.
