MSU Denver’s Fire and Emergency Response Administration program encompasses all emergency services response disciplines.
In 2016, Damarley moved from Jamaica to the United States, finding newfound freedom in Colorado. But three months after arriving, unforeseen circumstances left him unemployed and unhoused. One day, a park ranger found him sleeping in a park, scared and alone. Instead of kicking him out, he helped him find a job. When he was laid off at the beginning of the pandemic, a voice inside urged Damarley to start living up to his potential; higher education was the way forward.
MSU Denver drew Damarley in with its open enrollment policy, diversity and academic programs. Today, Damarley is a Roadrunner.

The Water Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary field of study that provides a holistic, highly interactive program. The curriculum is designed to facilitate water studies education to students from a wide range of co-curricular programs.
Campus Recreation aids in the education and development of the whole person and serves as a place of employment for students.
Epic Scholars is a Metropolitan State University of Denver program aimed at connecting, supporting and empowering students who’ve emerged from the foster care system and other difficult backgrounds
