A new strategic plan is currently in development for Academic Affairs!

This effort kicked off in June 2024 and is being led by Provost Laura Niesen de Abruña. Under the Provost’s guidance, a ‘Core Team’ is developing an inaugural Academic Affairs Strategic Plan, which will have alignment with MSU Denver’s 2030 Strategic Plan.
Consisting of 20+ members, the Core Team includes representative from: the Office of the Provost; the University’s Colleges & Schools; Academic Affairs Associate Vice Presidents; Faculty Senate; Council of Chairs and Directors; MSU Denver Faculty Federation; Student Affairs; Athletics; the Office of Online Learning; the Office of Innovative & Lifelong Learning; the Board of Trustees; and the Office of Strategic Initiatives & Analysis.
