The Petroleum Land Management (PLM) courses and certificates prepare land and land administration professionals for long-term success in the oil and gas industry. The certificates offered are Professional Land Management, Division Order Analyst, and Lease and Title Analyst.
Students can take one class, or combine the required classes to earn a certificate.
The curriculum is developed in partnership with Petroleum Education Workshops, LLC.
Terrill Williams is the founder and owner of Petroleum Education Workshops, LLC, a leading educational and training center for the oil and gas industry. He is a well-known speaker and educator in the industry, with a career spanning over 40 years. His unique instruction, resource materials, and training style impact hundreds of land professionals each year.
There are no prerequisites required, but students should have some knowledge of the industry. Students do not need to have a college degree nor work experience.
Since this is a noncredit certificate, you do not need to complete a formal admissions application. You need to register at www.msudenver.edu/plm.
Each course costs $475 and includes the textbook. There is a $35 transaction fee per payment.
Many employers will pay for their employees to earn this certificate. Payment can be made by the student and reimbursed according to your employer’s rules, or the employer can pay directly for the certificate on your behalf.
Discounts for multiple students from the same company may apply. Please contact us for more information before registering.
You will receive an automatic receipt via email once you complete the registration.
MSU Denver does not offer financial aid for noncredit courses and certificates.
Unfortunately, we do not offer course waivers based on education nor experience. You must complete all required courses to receive an MSU Denver certificate.
