Eric D. Olson – Chair of the Rita & Navin Dimond Department of Hotel Management & Full Professor

Dr. Eric D. Olson is the Chair of the Rita and Navin Dimond Department of Hotel Management in the School of Hospitality. His research interests include LGBTQ+ tourism, event sustainability, academic leadership, and the Fulbright Scholar programs. Dr. Olson currently sits on the Colorado Hotel Lodging Association and the Colorado Restaurant Foundation boards. He is also a co-editor of Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Cases. Prior to Joining MSU Denver, he had leadership and teaching positions at Iowa State University.
