There are many ways to get around Denver. Whether you live on campus or thirty minutes away, here is information about transportation in the Denver Metro area.
Regional Transportation District (RTD) is Denver’s bus, rail, and light rail transit services to Denver, Boulder, and surrounding cities in Colorado.
RTD CollegePass For Fall Semester
MSU Denver and its campus partners offer students a highly discounted RTD CollegePass, which provides unlimited access to local, regional, and airport bus and rail services from through December 31, 2024. The pass costs $250. Learn how to pay and activate your CollegePass here.
Additionally, RTD offers free fares to all customers ages 19 years or younger. Learn more about RTD’s Zero Fare for Youth program here.
The RTD rail system operates 365 days a year. Twelve rail lines service 113 miles of rail along the Denver’s North, East, Southeast, Southwest, and West rail corridors. There are over 15 parking lots and garages on the Auraria Campus. There are options to pay by the hour or purchase a parking pass.
