Stephen M. Jordan, Ph.D.Dear New Student Veteran:

As the President of Metropolitan State University of Denver, and a fellow veteran of the US Armed Forces, I want to extend a special welcome to you. As more and more servicemen and women are taking advantage of educational benefits, colleges and universities across the nation are eager to welcome you to campus. On behalf of our faculty, staff, and student community, we are honored that you have made the choice to join us at MSU Denver.

As you may know, MSU Denver is taking great strides to ensure a supportive and welcoming environment for our student veterans. We recognize and value your contributions to our country, and believe that it is our duty as an institution to provide you with appropriate services at the University to help facilitate your success.

If any point during your time at the University you have questions, ideas, or concerns regarding your experience as a student veteran, please contact the staff in the Veteran and Military Student Center in Suite 243 in the Tivoli Student Union. In addition to helping you navigate MSU Denver, the staff there can connect you with veteran services and agencies in the greater Denver-metro community as needed.

I look forward to meeting you personally at any number of our events to recognize and celebrate military service. Please watch your MSU Denver email and Student Hub for more information on upcoming events, programs, and new services geared at helping you make the most of your experience at the University.

Again, welcome to Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Stephen M. Jordan, Ph.D.
