When does my WinAD password expire?

All users are required to change their password every 120 days. We recommend changing your WinAD password at the beginning of every semester. To change your password please see below on "How do I reset my WinAD password?"

How do I log into a computer in the Labs?
 

Logging into a Lab Requires a WinAD account. If you are registered for classes during the current semester and do not have a WinAD password, please contact the Help Desk (303-352-7548 or go to West Classroom 241) to request one.

 

How do I log into ConnectU?

- On http://www.msudenver.edu, CLICK the ConnectU link in the upper right-hand corner.
*New users should click on the “New User?” link to obtain the first-time password.

- ENTER your username (your email address without the @msudenver) in the Username field.
- ENTER your WinAD password (Lab password).
*Once you have logged in to a Lab computer with your WinAD password, you can then use that password to log into ConnectU.
- CLICK the login button.

 

I looked up my password and it gave me the wrong password. How do I change it?

ConnectU Passwords are synchronized with your WinAD account. The password can be changed on a Lab computer, or by contacting the Help Desk to reset your password at 303-325-7548.

 

How do I reset my WinAD password?

You may also reset your password in any MSU Denver Computer Lab, visit the IT Help Desk locations, or contact the Help Desk at 303-352-7548.

 

How do I reset my Blackboard password?

Please contact the Help Desk at 303-325-7548.

 

Why does Blackboard display a message that I do not have access to my class?

Blackboard classes are only available during the semester that you are enrolled. Access is not available before the first day of class or after the final day of class. If you receive this message during the current semester, check with your instructor that you are on the roster, then contact Blackboard Support at 1-888-915-9535 or visit http://supportcenter.embanet.com/msudenver

 

How do I log in to Blackboard?

- From the ConnectU home screen, CLICK “My Courses” - SELECT the correct term from the dropdown list
- CLICK the course title link in blue and Blackboard will pop up in a new window.

 

What should I do if I cannot log in to Rowdy?

- Contact the Help Desk at 303-352-7548 and we can reset your Rowdy password.

 

How do I get in to my email?

- LOG IN to ConnectU.
- CLICK on the Gmail icon in the upper right-hand corner. - A new window will pop up and open Gmail.
*Make sure to log out of any other personal Gmail sessions.

 

What is my Google password?

Thanks to a new tool called Google Apps Password Sync, or GAPS, MSU Denver can now sync your WinAD password with your Google Apps password. This process requires you to reset your password, if you haven't done so since January 1, 2013. You can reset your WinAD password by following the instructions provided in this FAQ. If you have already reset your password, use your WinAD username and password to log in to Gmail Login or ConnectU.

 

I tried to log in to Google Apps and I was redirected to another web page. How do I fix this?

Google Apps "remembers" your account information, so if you logged in to another Google account and forgot to log in, Google is trying to access the other account. Visit Google's Homepage and log out of all accounts. Then, you should be able to log in correctly to Gmail Login and access your Google Apps provided by MSU Denver. You might also try clearing your Cache on your web browser. The method to do this can be found on the web.

 

How can I add Gmail to my mobile device?

Log in to Gmail, either by ConnectU or by visiting Gmail Login and go to the Settings menu, which is accessible via the gear icon on the right side of the Gmail page. In Settings you will see a menu named "Forwarding and POP/IMAP.” In that menu you will find configuration instructions for adding Gmail to your Computer or Mobile devices.

 

Whom do I contact if I am having difficulties registering for classes?

If you are a new student to MSU Denver, visit the Academic Advising Office at SSB 170 or call 303-556-3680. For returning students, please contact the Office of the Registrar at SSB 160 or call 303-556-3991.

 

Why are my classes not displaying in My Courses?

- Contact Help Desk at 303-352-7548 and we can correct this issue.
