SUMMER 2017 Employment Paperwork is due to HR on Monday May 1st by 3pm.

CONTINUING STUDENT EMPLOYEES –

Sessions are held on Tuesdays and Fridays (there may be some exceptions)

Sessions Cover: 

  • Timesheets & Payroll Schedules
  • Accessing Pay-stubs
  • Worker's Compensation 
  • Student Handbook 
  • Required Trainings
  • Hiring Packet and I-9 Completion
Summer Employment Guidelines

New Student Employees 

  • Should be enrolled for 6 or more credit hours 
  • Eligible to work up to 30 hours per week

Continuing Student Employees - 

Eligible to work up to 30 hours per week - An Exception Request Form is required for supervisors who want their employees to work over 30 hours. 

  • Work-study Students
    • Must have a WKSUM on file with Financial Aid
    • Must be enrolled for 6 or more credit hours 
  • Hourly Students:
    • Enrolled for 6 or more credits
      • Should provide Summer schedule 
    • Enrolled for 5 credits or less
      • Should provide Summer and/or Fall schedules
      • Automatically enrolled for the student retirement plan (TIAA/CREF)
    • Students Graduating in Spring 17
      • Automatically enrolled for the student retirement plan (TIAA/CREF)
  • International Students
    • Enrolled for 6 or more credits
      • Should provide Summer schedule 
    • Enrolled for 5 or less credits 
      • Should provide Summer and/or Fall schedules 
  • Graduate Students:
    • Enrolled for more than 3 credits
      • Should provide Summer schedule
    • Enrolled for 3 or less credits
      • Should provide Summer and Fall schedules
      • Automatically enrolled for the student retirement plan (TIAA/CREF)
