APPLYING FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND POST-BACCALAUREATE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION PROGRAMS


BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR APPLICATION TO THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND POST-BACCALAUREATE PROGRAMS, PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE APPLIED AND BEEN ACCEPTED TO METROPOLITAN STATE UNIVERSITY OF DENVER.


  • SUMMER 2017 DEADLINE: MAY 5th (Application opens mid-February)

  • FALL 2017 DEADLINE: JULY 21st (Application opens mid-February)

  • SPRING 2018 DEADLINE: DECEMBER 8th (Application opens mid-September)

 

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS:

In order to be accepted to the School of Education at the undergraduate and post-baccalaureate level, all prospective students must complete or meet the following requirements:

  • SCHOOL OF EDUCATION APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION – Completed application includes the Criminal History Agreement, Admissions Handbook Information Checklist and the Workers’ Compensation Procedures. Please see the Admissions Handbook for details.

  • GPA – Minimum 2.5 GPA (or higher) with 30 semester hours of credit completed or in progress.

Students who do not meet these requirements will need to wait to apply to the School of Education until these requirements can be met.

 

HOW TO APPLY:

STEP 1: Meet with the appropriate advisor(s) - see the Admissions Handbook for details.

STEP 2: Read and review the Admissions Handbook.

STEP 3: Complete the online application.


NEXT STEPS: Submitted applications will be processed within 2-4 weeks of when they are received. Please plan accordingly if you need admission status to register for classes. Once processed, students will receive an admissions decision email to their MSU Denver email address.

REAPPLY TO OR WITHDRAW FROM A SCHOOL OF EDUCATION PROGRAM

(Undergraduate/Post-baccalaureate Only)

If you were previously accepted to a School of Education undergraduate or post-baccalaureate program, and you have since gone inactive with the university and were required to reapply to the university to attend again, use the following link to request your readmission to your School of Education program.  

Please note: if you were inactive with the university for 3 or more years, you must apply as a new student using the application process outlined above.

If you are currently accepted to a School of Education undergraduate or post-baccalaureate program, and would like to request withdrawal from the program, please use the following link.
