College Opportunity Fund (COF) Information

The College Opportunity Fund provides eligible undergraduate students with a stipend that pays for a portion of in-state tuition.

If you’re a resident of Colorado, you must apply for COF.

Authorize the COF Stipend

After you’ve submitted your COF application, you MUST complete the one-time authorization of the stipend. This will allow the funds to be applied to your account, otherwise you will be responsible for your total in-state tuition.

After you’ve registered for your first semester classes, follow the steps below:

1. Begin the COF authorization process here.

2. Select the term in which you plan to begin classes and submit.

3. Choose to “Authorize Lifetime use” of your stipend and submit.

NOTE: Once you click submit, the page will display a “changes were saved” notification. This is your confirmation — you will not be directed to another page nor will you receive any additional confirmation notification. The stipend may take up to 1-2 weeks to process.

If you do not see it applied to your account at the end of the second week, please contact the Office of the Bursar at 303-615-0070.
