MSU Denver has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) since 1971. Because of this accreditation, MSU Denver students are eligible for federal financial aid and are able to transfer MSU Denver credits to other accredited higher ed institutions. Periodically, an HLC comprehensive evaluation and site visit occurs so that our accreditation can be continued. MSU Denver’s next site visit is April 10 and 11, 2017. A self-study, called an assurance argument, is being finalized now and is available for review at https://www.msudenver.edu/media/content/higherlearningcommission/HLC-Assurance-Argument.pdf.
